We are currently looking for potential coaches who would relocate to Anchorage Alaska. Our goal is to grow the sport of wrestling within Anchorage and the state of Alaska. Currently, we are in the process of renovating a facility, where, once finished will be the only stand-alone training facility purely for wrestling in Anchorage. Coaching opportunities exist for both high school and club. High School regular season runs from October through December. Our club will be operating on a year-round training cycle with local and national tournaments with opportunities to travel.
Currently, we are partnering with local businesses to employ coaches, while allowing them the opportunity to coach and travel. If coaches are still wanting to make a World or Olympic team, there will be opportunities to work, train, and compete. We have jobs for this summer working construction, then other forms of employment starting in August/September. We are looking for both men and women coaches, and encourage both to apply. College wrestling experience is preferred, along with current college wrestlers, and or current college or high school coaches looking to make a change.
