Weekend Recruiting Campus Visit Round-Up (9/8/26)

It’s our first recruiting weekend update of the 2026-27 season! This weekend was very different from a typical recruiting weekend for a couple of reasons. First and foremost, it was Labor Day weekend, so I’d assume there weren’t as many visits as might typically occur during the fall. Another dynamic is the change to NCAA recruiting rules. As it stands now, wrestlers from the Class of 2028 will need to wait until August 15th, 2027 to take official visits. They can now participate in camps or unofficial visits, but not in the way we’re used to. With that in mind, anyone on an official visit this fall has to be in the Class of 2027. Also, there are only a handful of top 100 recruits remaining from the Class of 2027, so we might not see the highest profile seniors on campus or as many top programs hosting recruits. Though they could bring committed recruits on campus for official visits.

Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, here is some information about the wrestlers who took visits to DI schools over the weekend.

If there’s anyone we’ve omitted, please let me know, and we’ll add them in, or if you’d like to inform us of scheduled visits.
