On Sunday evening, the high school and collegiate wrestling world got thrown for a loop as Bo Bassett, the #2 overall recruit in the Class of 2026, announced that he was reopening his recruiting process. In early February, Bassett committed to the University of Iowa.
With Bassett back on the market, it seems like a good time to check in on recruiting from the Class of 2026 and see which teams have high profile verbals (all are verbals at this point) and who is still on the market.
Below are the top 50 recruits from the Class of 2026 and where they’ve committed. At the end are the top 50 recruits who are uncommitted at this point - surprisingly it’s a very short list!
