U20 MFS Team Members by College (Since 2013)

On Friday, we watched the finals of the U20 men’s freestyle trials. As expected, this year’s team is excellent and will likely contend for a bunch of medals at the world championships. After perusing the 2026 squad, you might have noticed that traditional national championship threats like Penn State and Oklahoma State (x2) were represented; however, there are three wrestlers with Virginia Tech ties on the 2026 team.

How do all three of these programs compare to everyone else? We’ve gone back through the last 12 tournaments (13 years - there was none in 2020) and sorted members of the U20/Junior World teams by college.

Wrestlers have been listed by the school they attended at that time. Next to each wrestler, in parentheses, is the year they made the team, their weight class, and their medal status.
