In late April, the US Open took place in Las Vegas, Nevada, helping determine eight of the 20 matchups for Final X. The remaining Final X contests will be finalized over the next two days as the World Team Trials are held in Louisville, Kentucky.
Returning 2025 world medalists automatically were pushed into a Final X series if they planned to compete at the same weight. All US Open champions were granted a spot in Final X, so that accounts for the eight matchups we already know.
With some upsets at the Open, there are some names that we might not have expected otherwise at this event.

Below are the entries as of Wednesday morning.
Men’s Freestyle
57 kg
Austin Assad
Liam Cronin
Anthony Knox
Spencer Lee
Elijah Oliver
Brody Teske
In Final X: Luke Lilledahl
2025’s Final X matchup at 57 kg featured Spencer Lee defeating Luke Lilledahl in two straight matches. A rematch could happen again; however, I’m sure most fans thought it would be Lee sitting in Final X at this point. That isn’t the case, as Lilledahl had some last-second heroics to defeat Lee in Vegas.
