    2024-25 Week 15 Fantasy Leaders

Only two weeks remain in the regular season, while this week is the start of the Postseason tourney for Fantasy Team Managers.

For these standings, we will be using the Basic Fantasy Scoring through @WrestleStat (Win by Dec +3, Loss by Dec -3, Win by Pin +6, Loss by Pin -6, etc). Only results against D1 competition (starters, backups, and redshirts) will count towards Fantasy Points. Standings are first ordered based on total Fpts, then if tied by Points Per Match (PPM).

    Week 15 Notes:

A few wrestlers  top the Week 15 list after a successful run through the lightly-publicized Greyhound Open. Derek Gilcher is the #1 wrestler of Week 15 with four countable matches (out of five wrestled) for a total of 17 Fpts.

SIUE backup Eric Almarinez came in second with 13 Fpts at the same tournament, and Penn State’s Ty Watson had his name show up on the 157 Messiah Open bracket eight times, with only five being countable matches (two MFF and one non-D1 opponent).

The remaining Week 15 standings are filled with two match winners, not really separated by much at all.

The overall standings had little movement, with Wyatt Hendrickson entering the Top-3 with his most recent win by tech, helped by Peyton Hall only netting two Fpts from his two matches on the week.

Jesse Mendez remains at the top and is the first wrestler of the season to break the 100 Fpt mark. In second, Matt Ramos is eight points behind Mendez, with a match in-hand. This could come down to the last week, as in, if Ramos wins out (with bonus) and Mendez loses to Bartlett this week, we could see a race to the finish.
