Virginia Tech finishes program-best fourth at NCAAsNEW YORK -- The Hokies finished in fourth place at the 2016 NCAA Championship, earning a spot on the team trophy platform for the first time in program history on Sunday. Additionally, the six All-Americans in this year's squad is the new program record for most in a single season. Redshirt senior Nick Brascetta became the second three-time All-American in Virginia Tech history and finished third in his final trip to Nationals. Of the eight Tech grapplers that made the trip to Madison Square Garden this week, seven will return with five of the All-Americans staying on next year's roster. The Hokies fourth place finish at this year's championship is the best finish of an ACC team in the conference's history, topping a fifth place finished by UNC in 1982.
