Mike Soria got the Griffins on the scoreboard with a 14-5 major decision victory in the opening 125 pound match. Collin Dees then won by decision (10-3) to extend the Griffins lead to 7-0. Patrick Owens then started the wins by pinfall up with a fall at 1:08 of his match at 141 pounds. Tanner Druck continued the win streak for the Griffins with a 10-6 win at 149 pounds. The next six matches ended in pinfalls with the Griffins taking 4 of those matches. Zach Voytek won by fall (:57) at 157 pounds, Brett Smith won in 4:46 at 174 pounds. Christian Bosco won by fall (3:33) at 184 and Alex Soutiere ended the match with a win by fall in 1:10.
Seton Hill will look to make it seven in a row when they travel to Wheeling Jesuit on Saturday evening.
