Coming off a draw against former Strikeforce Champion Gegard Moussasi in April, Keith "The Mean" Jardine has been given a title shot. The 36-year-old will face reigning Strikeforce Middleweight Champion Luke Rockhold on the to-be-announced January 7th Strikeforce card. Rockhold was originally thought to be facing off of against Tim Kennedy, but Kennedy withdrew because of an undisclosed injury.
Jardine was originally scheduled to compete on Strikeforce's Dec. 17 card.
