    Oklahoma defeats Central Oklahoma, 32-6

    NORMAN, Okla. -- The No. 4 ranked Oklahoma wrestling team defeated the University of Central Oklahoma 32-6, Wednesday night, in Edmond. No. 1 ranked Teyon Ware was the lone Sooner to record a fall on the evening. Ware scored his fall against UCO's Kyle Evans, 2:44 into the first period, to improve his season record to 5-0.

    "This was a good outing for us tonight in the way we battled and fought the entire match, and Central Oklahoma came ready to wrestle tonight" said head coach Jack Spates.

    The Sooners also recorded five major decisions: Sam Hazewinkel (125), Matt Storniolo (149), Will Rowe (157), Justin Dyer (184) and Joel Flaggert (197).

    "Teyon, Hazewinkel and Will Rowe were outstanding tonight and really wrestled the way that we know they can," continued Spates. "This was a good test for us in our preperation to take on a very solid Lehigh squad. We know we have to step it up a notch this weekend but I think we are more than ready to do that."

    No. 6 ranked Jake Hager continued his domination early this season with a 3-1 decision over Josh LeadingFox of UCO. Hager pushed his undefeated season mark to 13-0 with tonight's victory.

    The Sooners will return home this weekend to take on Lehigh in the first home dual of the season on Saturday, Dec. 3, at 7 p.m.inside the Howard McCasland Field House.
