    NCAA DI Rankings Updated (10/28/2025)

With the 2025-26 collegiate season only days away, it's the proper time to update DI national rankings.

Barring something unforeseen, rankings will be updated and posted at 10AM (Eastern) every Tuesday morning from now until the NCAA Tournament.

There were a couple of weight classes that were not touched (125, 184, 197, and 285).

After our preseason rankings were posted, we were notified of weight changes for All-Americans Dylan Ragusin and Christopher Minto. Those have been updated.

The big news from last week was that 2024 NCAA champion Caleb Henson intends on redshirting in 2025-26. He's been removed from the 149 lb rankings and Shayne Van Ness takes over the #1 spot. Penn State starts the season with four preseason #1's (Van Ness, Mesenbrink, Haines, Barr).

Also at 149 lbs, Casey Swiderski has been inserted as the guy for Oklahoma State.

On a team front, Virginia Tech has moved down sharply in our tournament rankings and slightly in the dual rankings. That will happen when you remove a national champion and, as of now, have no one to replace him in the rankings.
