Last week, SIUE made it official and announced Daryl Thomas as the program's next head coach. 2025-26 was a transition season as the previous head coach announced he was stepping down at the end of the year and Thomas would take over.
The 2025-26 season was very strong from an SIUE perspective with an 11-2 dual record, a third-place finish at the MAC Championships, a wrestler ranked #2 in the nation and more. Coach Thomas talks about appreciating those accomplishments along with the future. He also talks about some of his previous head coaches and what he learned from each.
