Hendricks is making his second appearance in the classic and will face Iowa's Mark Perry in a rematch of the 2005 NCAA finals. Hendricks won that final and successfully defended his title last season.
Coleman Scott is scheduled to face defending NCAA champion Matt Valenti of Pennsylvania. Scott finished fifth at 125 at the 2006 NCAA Championships, and he is currently ranked third at 133.
Oklahoma State hosted the event last year in Gallagher-Iba Arena. Hendricks lost his match to Minnesota's Matt Nagel in overtime. Three other Cowboys wrestled in the event last year, with Jake Rosholt being the only Cowboy to win his match.
Oklahoma State opens the 2006-07 season on Sunday against California-Davis at 2 p.m. inside Gallagher-Iba Arena.
