Five Questions for This Week's New Set of Rankings (1/20/25)

We’re going to revive a feature that took a backseat during the month of December (and into January). There was either too much to potentially write about or too little. But “Five Questions” is back and will hopefully provide some insight into what you might see from the next set of national rankings which come out tomorrow at 10AM (Eastern). 

1) How to properly rank Jett Strickenberger? 

Technically, I’m not sure if we’re properly able to do that. Last season, his first at West Virginia, Strickenberger was up and down the rankings. Still, he clinched a berth at the NCAA Tournament after a third-place showing in a deep Big 12 weight class. Then he went 0-2 at nationals - despite having a #19 seed.
