Nine of the 10 No. 1 seeds claimed victories in the semifinals. Northern Iowa's Max Thomsen (149) was the lone No. 1 seed to fall. Freshman Brayton Lee of Minnesota, ranked No. 9 by InterMat, defeated Thomsen, 4-2, in sudden victory in the semifinals.
Nebraska currently leads the team race. The Cornhuskers have one finalist, Isaiah White (165), but eight other wrestlers in placing matches.
The finals will take place at 3 p.m. PT/6 p.m. ET.
