Three-time All-American Michael McGee spoke to InterMat about his yearly improvement in the Arizona State room. It wasn’t by choice, rather necessity to survive with a talented group of lightweights and a great coaching staff.
McGee recently finished his career in third place at 133 lbs after beating Daton Fix in his final collegiate bout. He talks about the difference between his match with Fix this year opposed to last season.
Other topics during our discussion include helping the Sun Devils to a pair of NCAA team trophies, possible future plans, playing the “what-if” game regarding his career at Old Dominion, and who is the best athletic trainer in the country?
