The 3rd Annual Dan Gable Open will be taking place next Friday January 13th, 2006 in the Kolf Sports Center Fieldhouse on the campus of UW-Oshkosh. Please see the attached letter and schedule with all pertinent information regarding the event. All proceeds for the event go directly toward the Endowment fund created to secure collegiate wrestling at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. I realize this is on the same weekend as the National Duals but even if you just make your reserves/redshirts aware of the event, it would be a great help to us.
As an added bonus to this year's event, Dan Gable has graciously committed to attending the event. Coach Gable will be giving a speech to all coaches/competitors beginning at 8am in the fieldhouse. He will then speak downstairs to the general public at 9:30am.
