    Oklahoma State blasts Bucknell

    LEWISBURG, Pa. -- The Oklahoma State wrestling team remains perfect on the weekend, picking up six bonus-point wins en route to defeating the Bucknell Bison, 37-6, on Monday inside Sojka Pavilion.

    "Overall, we had a pretty good showing," coach John Smith said. "I liked the bonus points and the pins. It was good to see us getting wins out of those close matches at 125 and 141. It was a good way to close our weekend."

    The Cowboys (7-0), dressed in new black singlets, collected three pins, beginning with Jon Morrison, who pinned Paul Petro in 43 seconds. This was the third match in a row that seventh-ranked Morrison did not give up any points.

    "It was a good weekend," Morrison said. "It was fun to come out and get to wrestle in Madison Square Garden yesterday. I got a pin tonight, and I want to keep building on that and stay aggressive. I came out and tried to force some action, and I put him away."

    Jordan Oliver and Alex Dieringer followed Morrison's lead, pinning their opponents in 1:14 and 1:15, respectively.

    Chris Perry captured his third win of the weekend, taking down Stephen McPeek 12 times to earn a 26-11 major decision. He was joined by Alan Gelogaev, who defeated Joe Stolfi, 17-5, in the final match of the night.

    Earning the team five points was Chris Chionuma, who seized a 22-7 technical fall over Robert Marchese in 6:41.

    Eddie Klimara started strong for the Cowboys, picking up his first career dual win with a 10-8 decision over Austin Miller. Julian Feikert also produced a win for the team defeating Derrick Russell, 5-2.

    OSU returns to action on New Year's Day when it competes in the Southern Scuffle hosted by Tennessee-Chattanooga.
