As February approaches the premier duals start to pick up and it was shown this week. Oklahoma State had two great duals on a trip to Iowa and stayed undefeated on the year, beating UNI and Iowa State. Missouri has put together a three-match winning streak, and have started to get some ranked wins with it. Air Force and Wyoming went 2-0 on the weekend. Oklahoma also visited Iowa but struggled, going 0-2 on the weekend.

197: #7 Luke Surber Dec. #14 Wyatt Voelker (4-3)

Farber was dominant against blue chipper Hughes, Happel, and Jamison battled for seven minutes until Happel’s OT takedown, and Realbuto flipped a result at CKLV. The Cowboys didn’t let up, however, with Fish beating Downey in a wild one that nearly ended in regulation.
They then put up consecutive bonus point wins at 165 and 174 before a CKLV/Big 12/NCAA finals rematch. It was all Keckeisen once again, who took a close match after one to hunting for a tech late. Luke Surber and Wyatt Voelker had a highlight reel scramble match, with a Surber takedown call clinching the win. Wyatt Hendrickson ended up capping the dual with a tech to firmly put the Cowboys on top.

Missouri over West Virginia (22-16)
125: #14 Jett Strickenberger Dec. #32 Gage Walker (7-6)
165: #3 Peyton Hall Dec. #18 Cam Steed (10-8)
285: Jarrett Stoner Inj. Def. Michael Wolfgram (5:49)
After a rough start to the year Missouri has now quietly reeled off three consecutive conference wins. Still missing Keegan O’Toole and Colton Hawks, the hope is for them to return at the Iowa State dual before Big 12’s. Here Walker came up just short again in another one-point loss. Kade Moore became UFC Fight Pass’ first two-time belt winner with a second-period fall.
Cam Steed built an early lead over Peyton Hall with some massive body locks but wasn’t able to keep it against Hall’s constant pressure. This dual came down to heavyweight and it was a nailbiter, with Wolfgram having a 6-4 lead into the third. Unfortunately in the third Wolfgram went down after taking an attack in a lot of pain. He tried to come back and wrestle through it but was unable to continue and could be a big loss for the Mountaineers.
Oklahoma State over Iowa State (27-12)
141: #13 Jacob Frost Dec. #4 Tagen Jamison (SV-1 4-1)
157: #12 Cody Chittum Dec. #11 Caleb Fish (4-2)
Another great dual with the Cowboys, who flexed their upperweight strength after starting the dual 1-4. Spratley was in a two-takedown hole early but rallied to beat Ethan Perryman 20-10. Reece Witcraft got the first takedown but Evan Frost broke the match open with a turn in the second. Jacob Frost put the pressure on Jamison and got a takedown in overtime for his first top-five win.
Fish was in another controversial match but came up on the losing end this time. He appeared to have a takedown in the third, but it wasn’t awarded after a replay. It was again all-Cowboys from there, as they swept the back half of the dual and moved to 11-0.
