    Ohio State rolls past Wisconsin

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The 7th-ranked Ohio State wrestling team celebrated Senior Night in the best way possible - with a convincing 34-6 victory over Wisconsin in front of a season-high crowd of 5,650.

The Buckeyes won eight of 10 matches, highlighted by a technical fall from Kyle Snyder, a dual-closing pin from Jake Ryan and an overtime triumph from one of the nine seniors honored before the match - Kenny Courts.

The dual started at 165 pounds with one of the feature matches of the night - No. 2 Bo Jordan vs. No. 3 Isaac Jordan. In a remark of the Big Ten championship match from last season, I. Jordan jumped out to an early lead and hung on to end B. Jordan's unbeaten streak this year, 6-4.

Ohio State managed to take the next seven matches, however, as No. 15 Myles Martin started the run with a major decision at 174 pounds, 12-1 over Ricky Robertson. Courts then followed that up with a 6-4 overtime triumph against Ryan Christensen in which he scored the winning takedown early in the sudden victory period.

Mark Martin made his return to the lineup at 197 pounds and didn't disappoint, topping Eric Peissig, 6-3. From there, Snyder did what Snyder does - he scored points early and often in a 26-11 technical fall that have Ohio State a 15-3 lead at intermission.

Following the break, Nathan Tomasello remained unbeaten (17-0) as he earned a 20-5 tech fall over Johnny Jimenez. Johnni DiJulius made his final Big Ten match in St. John Arena a convincing 10-2 major decision over Jens Lantz that extended the Buckeye lead to 24-3.

Micah Jordan won his 19th match of the year, 10-1 over Gabe Grahek, and then the dual was topped off by Ryan's pin at 157 lbs. over TJ Ruschell that came in 3:36.

Ohio State finishes the regular season at 7-2 in the Big Ten and has accumulated 15 conference wins over the past two seasons, the most of any two-year period in program history. Ohio State has won regular season dual left, a date in the NWCA National Championship Dual against an opponent to be announced on Sunday, Feb. 14.
