    No. 1 Penn State's BJC dual vs. Ohio State is sold out

    UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Penn State Athletics has announced that the top-ranked Nittany Lion wrestling' team's Feb. 5 BJC Dual against Ohio State is now sold out. The near-16,000 seat venue is at capacity.

    Ticket holders and those who were not able to purchase tickets can utilize TM Plus, Penn State's official ticket exchange system. Fans who cannot attend the dual can list their tickets for those who missed out on the opportunity to purchase tickets to the dual meet. Penn State has sold out 28 of its last 29 home events, including 26 straight in Rec Hall and two of its last three BJC Duals. The Ohio State BJC dual will make it three of four sell-outs in the near-16,000 seat arena in the last three years.

    Penn State is now 10-0 on the year, 5-0 in Big Ten dual meets. Penn State is coming off a two-win weekend over No. 11 Nebraska and No. 25 Northwestern (in which it outscored its Big Ten foes 70-14). The Nittany Lions trek to Champaign, Ill., to face No. 8 Illinois (9-3, 1-3 B1G) on Saturday. The 4 p.m. contest will air live on the Big Ten Network.

    With wrestling sold out, Penn State fans have many options over the weekend, including a special ticket package for a huge Winter Sports Weekend on Feb. 5-7. Fans can save $30 when they buy a three-game basketball and hockey ticket for just $30, half off the regular price if bought individually. The three game ticket special includes a ticket to the Feb. 5 women's hockey game vs. Syracuse (7 p.m.), the Feb. 6 Nittany Lion basketball clash vs. Indiana (8 p.m.) and the Feb. 7 Lady Lion basketball game vs. Rutgers (2 p.m.). Fans who buy the three game ticket special also will receive for free, as they enter each venue over the weekend, a Penn State Hockey drawstring bag, a Lady Lion Basketball winter hat and a Nittany Lion Basketball keychain.

    Penn State wrestling's next home dual will be on Sunday, Jan. 31, when it hosts No. 10 Michigan at 2 p.m. in Rec Hall. The dual has been declared a white out with fans encouraged to wear their white gear to the event. With all Rec Hall duals already at seated capacity, a limited number of Standing Room Only tickets (SROs) can be purchased for some. Rec Hall SROs may only be purchased by calling 1-800-NITTANY and are $15 per person.
