Mark Smith had a pin, Dave Sullivan won a major decision and Keith Smith won in sudden victory for the Warriors.
ESU fell behind 6-0 early before a forfeit at 141 tied the match. Following an American fall at 149, Mark Smith decked Christopher Stout in 4:31, with a headlock. Keith Smith gave ESU its first lead when he scored a takedown in sudden victory for a 7-5 win at 165.
Sullivan extended the lead to 19-12 with a 13-4 major decision at 174. American, though, won the final three matches to win the dual.
Karasevicz escaped in the second period but LoPiccolo had riding time to force sudden victory. Karasevicz shot early in the extra session but LoPiccolo was able to counter and scored a takedown for a 3-1 victory.
ESU, 10-8, will conclude its dual meet season at Bloomsburg Sunday at 1 p.m.
American is 11-6 and will wrestle at South Dakota State Sunday and at North Dakota State Monday.
