Fund Development Coordinator - Beat the Streets

Reporting to and in partnership with the Sr. Director of Operations & Finance and the Executive Director, the Fund Development Coordinator is responsible for managing the fundraising initiatives of Beat the Streets Wrestling Inc. The Coordinator will be responsible for campaigns, events, donor prospecting, donor cultivation, solicitations, tracking and reporting donations, grant applications and stewardship activities.

-Assist in the development of the annual fundraising plan.
-Support the Sr. Director of Operations/Finance with the annual audit and donation income.
-Manage the donor database, Raiser’s Edge and oversee staff responsible for data entry.
-Solicit financial support and gift-in-kind contributions from individuals, corporations, and foundations.
-Collaborate with BTS’s Grant Writer to apply for grant funding.
-Manages donor acknowledgements and oversee staff responsible for executing.
-Collaborate with staff on the creation of marketing and solicitation materials.
-Plan and executes Special Events.
-Compile and analyze information about potential donors.
-Develop and implements solicitation campaigns.
-Create internal and external donation reports.
-Schedule meetings for the Executive Director with potential donors and attend when necessary.
-Follow the “BTS Mission” of developing the full human and athletic potential of urban youth and to strengthen the wrestling culture within New York City.

-Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, or equivalent experience in fundraising (3 years) preferred
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Manage time effectively
-Prioritize effectively with a high level of confidentiality
-Ability to work effectively with multiple individuals and manage several projects at once
-Proficient in Raiser’s Edge, Classy, and Blackbaud
