She made the ultimate mistake assuming people were smart enough to understand it was about slavery AND some other things.  You have to cover it all for the wokers.

Nothing burger. She didn’t ‘omit slavery’ as a lot of the headlines read. She spoke to a bigger picture of issues, of which yes slavery was a big part of. But she didn’t in anyway imply slavery wasn’t a cause.

People just scrounging…

She did omit slavery, very explicitly.  I bet this ends up hurting her, which means it is other than a nothing burger.

Agree to disagree on the first line. I do agree it will hurt her, so in that sense you are correct maybe ‘not a nothing burger’.

By that, I meant people are going to make a big meatball out of nothing. Again, she talked about a bigger issue that slavery was very much a big part of. If people want to say that is ‘omitting slavery’, I say that is a word picking because we want to get some juice on someone. Which….is politics in America.

Vivek is destroying everybody in the debates.  they have all been a non factor for weeks.  He shut Haley up weeks ago talking about how her net worth has gone from despair and bankruptcy to multi millionaire in a few years off the backs of donors and special interests. .

You can't be serious. Vivek does have the gift of gab just like any good salesman or politician. The problem is he doesn't have any history of accomplishing anything at the local, state or federal level. Maybe he should first be a Mayor or a Governor first. I think he would learn a lot. Politics is a different animal than being a CEO of a company.

You mean like Trump was?   Lets trust a politician because he's "been there before"

That 50 years in office has been so enlighhtening for Biden and Pelosi etc.

So do you honestly think Vivek is ready for the most powerful position in the entire world? If so, could you give a list of reasons why. Maybe only 4 or 5.

As soon as you give me 6 reasons why Nikki Haley, Chris Christy or Desantis are more qualified.     Let's start with your assumption that the self made Billionaire CEO needs more political experience.

I really believe you should have honored my request first. I'm a little offended.. Christy .NO!!!!!!  Nikki .Not so Much. Ok, since there really aren't any other viable candidates, I will go with Desantis. 1. He has experience running a large state. 2. He is doing a good job. 3. He is a conservative. 3a. He has a good understanding of how screwed up Washington DC is 4. He has a good understanding of the Constitution. 5. He has a good understanding of Americas role and responsibility in World affairs. 6.He doesn't have as much baggage as Donald Trump 7. He has great respect for Military soldiers and their families. 8 He will pick Kristi Noem as his running mate. 9. He will beat   Old Joe and kick his butt back to Delaware for good. Now I hope that is sufficient.

Nope, see, you wrote off two candidates immediately who have "political experience" on Vivek.  Leaving Desantis.  I fail to see where Desantis is more qualified.    Vivek is  resolute in his opinions and runs circles around Desantis on the stage.  If you actually listen,  the gift of gab you speak of is a wealth of knowledge, he knows what he is talking about.   Desantis on the hand has been wishy washy,  starting with the first debate when he had to look at the other panelists when they were asked to raise their hand if they would support the Party Candidate if it was Trump.   The others raised their hands RD slowly followed after reading the room.  A definate sign of weakness.

You have your opinion and I have mine. It seems that  there is a chance that you just like to argue. I could be wrong. So I will ask you one more time. Do you think Vivek is ready for the most powerful position in the entire world? That would be yes or no. You are not required to give any reason why.

Lol,  check the history of this thread. You started with me.  I've just been replying to your absurdity.   Is Vivek my first choice?, NO.  Trump is.  But if I have a second choice I'll take the self made non sellout Billionaire over any of the rest of the candidates.

“I’ll take the self made billionaire over…”

Maybe should look at how and where he made his money, compare and contrast with the words he speaks on the campaign.

In other words he’s completely full of shit and I wouldn’t want him anywhere near the White House.

For what it’s worth as it is right now, out of all presented options Haley would be my choice.

He no longer is a billionaire. I just checked Forbes and they have him at 880 million now . One of his main stocks plummeted 31 precent since September. Ouch!! He was at 1.1 billion previously. What's the scoop on how he made his money?

Haley is full of shit as well. The establishment is gonna hate Vivek, which will make things tough for him.

Made his first big chunk hedge fund managing for pharma, until the run crashed. He was ‘smart’ enough to be pretty much the only one not to lose on the crash, and reinvested by partnering up with China state owned company.

Those obviously aren’t his only ventures, but just the start of when you walk down his what he’s done vs what he says path.

Oh don’t get me wrong, I don’t assume to see a terrific candidate up there (honestly I’m not even sure what that is anymore). But of the pick of the liter….

(for me anyways)
