I was optimistic about Wright but haven't heard anybody talking about him recently (as opposed to Crook where his name comes up a lot for a potential breakout year). He was steadily improving throughout the year though if he kept that up he'll be a tough out.

My guess. I see 0% chance he is “sanctioned” by USA wrestling……. whatever that means and disallowed to compete. With that said. How do you reconcile with your wife. Excessive high end training? Seems not a good time for that. How do you go do that after what happened and hope / explain to your wife life is different? I obviously know nothing but if he doesn’t compete it’s because he’s trying to reconcile with his family. Worst event ever for both wife and kids may justify not competing in this cycle. Who knows though.

Man, the more I think about it, the more it just all around sucks. People are so hard over on their opinions about the situation too. He’s both a hypocrite and deserving of our empathies; doesn’t have to be one or the other.
