  1. Past hour
  2. I'm not so sure. He did not think he would get caught. He thought he was too smart for that. And then drops his gun, and blabs all over the internet and allows his picture to be taken, so that he did just about everything possible to get caught all while thinking he outsmarted the authorities. Plus he did a good thing, how will he be caught for that? So family and lover were not even a concern. He was home free for a day. mspart
  3. Sure, but if fed tax dollars are paying for it, then my share is negligible. Bring them in!!! Let the rural folk pay for urban law enf
  4. That 55 hr/wk job doesnt pay min wage.
  5. You don't pay fed taxes? We all pay for law enforcement unless it is not being done. Which is the case in many big cities, Seattle and Portland included. mspart
  6. On Tuesday afternoon, Musk sent an email asking all xAI employees to “send a one page summary of what you’ve accomplished in the past four weeks and what you intend to accomplish in the next four weeks.” “This is due by noon on Thursday,” Musk wrote in the email, according to a copy of the email shared with CNN by a source familiar with the situation. Does sound bad just regular home work assignment.
  7. Didn't he say that it is the left is the party of murder? I have seen this in various conservative media. mspart
  8. I'm curious how you'd give Forrest a less than 1 in 20 chance to make the team at 65kg. He just made the world team as a high schooler and 65kg is almost certainly going to be the most natural weight for him in 2028. He's still pretty spindly. That being said, I also think that 65kg is going to be the deepest weight at OTT. I don't know if from 3 years out you can really give anyone more than ~15% chance to make the team. I don't even know who the favorite to make the team would be. Mendez? Valencia? Woods? Jax? Blaze?
  9. Send them to my town. Let federal tax dollars pay for my local law enf so I don't have to pay for it myself.
  10. Right, but most of the rumbling was that they were going 174 and 184.
  11. Did Trump send NG to Chicago? That's the thread here. But I'll open it up, did he send them to Memphis? I heard interviews with people in Memphis saying if it will stop or reduce crime, bring them on. When your politicians will not protect you, you will accept assistance from anyone willing to give it. Even Trump. You know, it would be in everyone's best interest if they cleaned up their cities on their own and didn't wait for Trump to show them up and take away their votes by showing action works. I don't think they are smart enough to think that through. By saying NO to Trump, he will come with help and clean up the city and the people will be astounded and hopefully they will take action to stop this by voting the idiots out of office. The Feds cannot take over continually. It must be given back to the locals to continue the fix. Again, if they fail that, I predict they will be voted out. They should be. City leaders that refuse to protect citizens from crime and violence don't deserve to be city leaders. mspart
  12. You do realize that Parris has a 2023 bronze and had a back and forth battle with geno, right? That’s a piece of the puzzle, too. in fact, didn’t he have a ranking tournament win over geno?
  13. Look it up It's pretty bad and on video. Fix news typically won't report that type of stuff if it's from wingers, which it usually is.
  14. To be fair, a large part of the short shelf life for 65kg wrestlers is that they often come onto the scene in their very early 20s and then outgrow the weight while many still go on to have success at a higher weight class. So if you're simply looking at the podiums of 65kg, you are right that not many are around for more than a few years, but there are many that go on to have success at 70kg (Zane for example). It would be awesome if Amouzad could stay effective at 65kg, he is so damn tough that he could definitely be the "GOAT" of 65kg. But I highly doubt anyone will ever be the most decorated wrestler in the lighter weights. They just don't have the longevity.
  15. You 100% summed up slip n tweet
  16. Sounds like Tyler’s roommate and “lover” Lance Twiggs has been moved to a safe space for his own protection. Also sounds like the county sheriff has recommended that Tyler’s family stay out of the public eye and lay low for a long time. Tifa Tyler obviously didn’t care about the effects his actions were going to have in those around him.
  17. I haven’t seen anything offical yet but I’ll keep hoping.
  18. Democrat Rep. Chuy Garcia: An ICE officer killed one of "my constituents." So ... does Garcia's district include Mexico?
  19. I’d say it reached a peak during Obama's administration.
  20. I appreciate your points about outliers which are valid for someone hoping to chase history. However, you can also look at the list and see how many won before 20, before 23, and disappeared entirely. 65 is so tough and has such a short shelf life but also such an amazing high-level peak. There is a reason it is consistently considered the toughest weight in the world. Here is to hoping that Amouzad makes history and we all witness a rarely seen sustained level of greatness. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_World_and_Olympic_Champions_in_men's_freestyle_wrestling
  21. He should go on FOX and they ambush him with that. mspart
  22. What’s this vid of? Did she get booted? https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZP8S5nmS5/
  23. Seems to been going on for a looooong time too. Can’t put my finger on when it started but not recently.
  24. When they stopped getting penalized.
