2022 World Team Trials: Final Results

The World Team Trials have wrapped up from Coralville and Final X has been set! The afternoon session from the Xtream Arena saw the finals of the challenge tournament take place. Wrestlers who were victorious in this round will meet a returning world medalist in either Final X Stillwater or New York. In the coming days, InterMat will post videos with wrestlers headed to Final X, as well as have more coverage from the events that took place this weekend.

Really an afterthought: in all but a few weight classes as the final X opponents are all likely advancing again to the world championships ---they are all mainstays and no how to win when it counts---really just for entertainment

I think Zain will make another team & maybe a gold medal---he just needs to find a little more offense but when all is said and done he is one of the most gifted wrestlers on the planet

Basketball Fan, Zain is much younger than the other medalists save maybe Gillman....give him some time; he has world class hand-fighting skills and can go with anyone
