Two former Penn State wrestling standouts will meet on Oct. 20.

Three-time NCAA champion Jason Nolf and NCAA champion Bubba Jenkins will face off at the second Nittany Lion Wrestling Club event on Rokfin.

Penn State head wrestling coach Cael Sanderson tweeted the announcement Monday.

Nolf has been successful on the senior level in freestyle since finishing his college wrestler career at Penn State in 2009. He was a third-place finisher at the U.S. Open in 2019. He reached the World Team Trials challenge tournament finals that same year before losing to Isaiah Martinez. He claimed a gold medal at the Pan American Championships in March. Nolf defeated David McFadden at the first NLWC event on Sept. 19 and defeated Jordan Oliver at Rumble on the Rooftop in June.

Jenkins, who started his college wrestling career at Penn State before finishing at Arizona State, has been competing in MMA since concluding his college career in 2011. He has fought in several organizations, including Bellator MMA, Absolute Championship Berkut and Brave Combat Federation, and most recently signed with the Professional Fighters League. In additon to being a two-time NCAA finalist (and NCAA champion), Jenkins won a gold medal at the Junior World Championships in 2007.
