Northern Iowa THUMPS an excellent Missouri squad on their home mat, more than doubling the score and snatching the MAC dual meet crown right out of the Tigers mouth. What happens next? UNI immediately says "No" to a National Duals appearance, and their AD has a lengthy interview where he intimates athletics may not be a *core* portion of the UNI experience, etc. This while he acknowledged that Panthers athletics is a major, possibly primary gateway to the general public awareness of the school. Begs questions about the timing if nothing else.
