Hourly Assistant Wrestling Coach - Manchester University - North Manchester, Indiana
Responsibilities: Reporting to the Head Wrestling Coach, the Hourly Assistant Coach will coach practices and competitions, insuring appropriate safety precautions during practice, games and team travel; evaluate players; recruit prospective student-athletes (some travel required); maintain office files and paperwork and team academic success program; drive campus fleet vehicles to away competitions. Obtain certification in CPR w/AED & First Aid (On-site training provided); attend all athletic and campus-wide staff meetings; represent the Department of Athletics in an appropriate and professional manner at all times; abide by the rules for the sport of the NCAA, HCAC, and Manchester University at all times; take the NCAA Division III Rules Test online; and other duties as assigned by the Head Coach and Director of Athletics.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, previous coaching experience and strong organizational and communication skills preferred.
Work Schedule: Hours will be determined with current coaching staff upon hire; includes weekend work.
