Graduate Assistant Ashland University
Ashland University is accepting applications for the position of Graduate Assistant Wrestling Coach. The position pays for 3 graduate classes and a $2,000 stipend per semester.
Responsibilities: Assist the Head Wrestling Coach with the administration of the program. Duties include but are not limited to: preparation and management of competitions and team functions, monitoring academic performance and overall well-being of student athletes. Recruiting of prospective student athletes as well as maintaining logs and completing compliance forms. Perform other coaching duties and assignments as necessary as delegated by the Head Wrestling Coach.
Qualifications: Must have bachelor’s degree. All applicants must demonstrate leadership and communication skills, and possess a working knowledge of regulatory rules pertaining to wrestling. Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to academic and athletic excellence in a collegiate environment. Applicants must demonstrate organizational skills in order to set daily, seasonal and annual programming needs pertaining to the sport.
