Girls Wrestling Program Assistant Needed (Part Time, Contract)
Beat the Streets Wrestling in NYC is currently looking for a Girls Wrestling Program Assistant Manager. The ideal candidate will not only be able to teach freestyle wrestling, recruit adolescent girls to try out wrestling, and understand the need for an all-girls option in addition to the coed opportunities available, but should also be a good manager, computer savvy, and accessible in after school/weekend hours, as that is when most of our events/practices take place.
While we are looking for people with wrestling experience, wrestling experience is not the only factor that will figure into the decisions. We are looking for people who actually care about getting more girls to wrestle and helping more girls become strong, disciplined women who are not afraid to work toward their goals and to push themselves.
Interested candidates should email Cheryl Wong at firstname.lastname@example.org and Bill Crum at email@example.com with their resume and a cover letter stating why they believe they would be good candidates for the positions. All candidates must be based in or around NYC.
Additional information on the job description is posted on www.beat-the-streets.org and www.nycwomenswrestling.com. Beat the Streets is a non-profit organization that provides wrestling programming for under-resourced youth.
