Coker College Graduate Assistant
The Athletic Department at Coker College invites applicants to apply for the position of Assistant Coach, Men’s Wrestling. This position is responsible for assisting with the NCAA Division II Men’s Wrestling program at Coker College. Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
1. Assisting with the recruitment of student athletes that are successful in the classroom as well as on the court.
2. Assisting with scheduling home and away games.
3. Assisting with organizing travel for away games.
4. Assisting with fundraising for the program.
5. Assisting with conditioning student athletes for maximum performance.
The ideal candidate is competitive with strong leadership capability and has the ability to motivate and persuade others in a positive direction. The incumbent is well organized, works efficiently and is successful with time management. Excellent communications and public relations abilities are a must.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required. Experience with an intercollegiate wrestling program and knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations is preferred. CPR and AED certification is required.
