Three All-American wrestlers for the University of Oklahoma, Jarrod Patterson, Andrew Howe, and Travis Rutt, will redshirt during the 2012-13 season, according to a report by WIN Magazine.

Patterson, a three-time NCAA qualifier, earned All-American honors in 2011 at 125 pounds, but fell short of reaching the podium in 2012 after advancing to the round of 12. He has a career record of 87-28 with one season remaining.

Rutt became an All-American in 2011 with a seventh-place finish at 184 pounds. He has a career record of 60-32. Rutt competed at the 2012 U.S. Olympic Team Trials in Greco-Roman and finished 1-2 at 84 kilos.
