Division II All-Academic team released

Division II announced its annual All-Academic Team on Friday and leading the way were a pair of 4.0 students, Cody Weitzel (top) of Colorado School of Mines and Dustin Nagel (inset) of Minnesota State-Moorhead. Truman State led the way among the teams, with a team GPA of 3.394. For the full list, click more.

NWCA announces scholastic award winners

The National Wrestling Coaches Association announced its yearly Scholastic Award winners on Tuesday. Coach of the Year honors went to Apple Valley (Minn.) Head Coach Jim Jackson, while Scholastic Wrestler of the Year was awarded to Easton (Pa.) senior Jordan Oliver. Schuyler Central (Neb.) assistant Tom Spale was named NWCA Assistant Coach of the Year. New downloads available in aiding prevention of skin disease

The New York State Department of Health has provided two PDF fliers for easy printing and posting to inform about the spread and prevention of skin diseases. The NWCA has also posted a PDF of its informational powerpoint presentation outlining types of skin diseases, prevention and wrestling maintenence regarding those issues.
