Brian Smith has built the Missouri wrestling program into a perennial national wrestling power. This year Smith was named MAC Wrestling Coach of the Year for the second consecutive year. He is coming off a season in which he guided the Tigers to a 10-2 dual meet record, MAC tournament title, and a top-15 finish at the NCAAs. JJ Classic Central

Portillo Twins Register

The Portillo twins, Justin and Joshua (Clarion-Goldfield, Iowa), have registered for the 2014 InterMat JJ Classic at 106 pounds and 120 pounds respectively. Justin was an InterMat JJ Classic champion last year at 100 pounds. Joshua is coming off an undefeated sophomore season in which he went 31-0 and claimed a state championship. Missouri landed its third top 100 recruit from the Class of 2015 with the commitment of Will Roark (Seneca, Mo.), a two-time state champion and Junior freestyle All-American. He projects at 141/149 pounds.
